Bruce Jacobs, 4th December 1951 – 14th October 2026
I met Bruce in August 1981. At that time I thought Denon and Yamaha were high-end products. Bruce showed me otherwise and took me on a wild ride that lasted over 45 years! I would not be enjoying the level of audio playback that I have now without him.
In the spring of 2001, Bruce gave me the idea of stacking ball bearings, which is the patented core technology of Stillpoints products. I created a company out of that gift, and he came to work with me in January 2008. I ran the company and he handled sales and marketing. We traveled together, roomed together, and spent many hours discussing all things audio and faith. He was an extremely inspiring figure in my life, and I am tremendously grateful to have known him.
Bruce’s love for his family knew no bounds. I’m sure his unwavering love of God has brought his soul joy, comfort, and peace. My deepest condolences to his entire family and to the countless others who knew and loved him.
Bruce was unique and left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. May his memory be a blessing.
