Entreq

"If ever a product range did exactly what it says on the tin, then it's the Entreq line..."
~ Roy Gregory, The Audio Beat: May 2014

Entreq was founded in 1999, since that time they have steadfastly researched the combinations of materials used in their products to continually optimise their performance. The entire Entreq line of products is the result of years of dedication and the attention to the finest of details. It’s a no-compromise approach to offer you the most musical experience. Entreq has developed a methodology of combining its products to obtain the highest possible performance through the reduction of the ever present noise, magnetic fields and high frequency pollution found present in all electronic devices.

WHY USE OUR GROUND BOXES?
You will enjoy improved dynamics, a lower noise floor and a more natural flow (pace, rhythm) in the sound. The quest is to tailor the best combination of both Eartha cable and matching Grounding box to best suit your system. However this doesn't always have to end up being the highest rated cable and the biggest Ground box. The key here is to find the best match! A more transparent cable can expose ills (mismatches if you will) that are in the system. That said, the Olympus models of grounding boxes are on a performance level that is far above the Silver models and will often show you the benefit of a far stronger & cleaner path to Ground. The Ground boxes are available in Entreq’s now familiar natural Oak finish. However the Olympus Minimus and Olympus Tellus are also available in a Dark Oak.

MODELS

Sliver Minimus (single terminal) The Silver Minimus, like its sibling the Minimus, has only 1 outlet. However it incorporates the same enhancements in its mineral mixture as the Silver Tellus. Thus offering a significantly more effective Ground point than the standard Minimus. Even a brief exposure to the Silver Minimus will quickly validate its benefit, whether used solely for grounding your electronics or with Entreq's own dedicated signal cables.
Olympus Minimus (single terminal)

Olympus Minimus is Entreq's top model in the range of Minimus Ground boxes. It weighs in at 20 lbs. or 9 kilo’s and has a single solid Silver ground point. The Olympus Minimus was primary designed for the optimal grounding of pre-amps and dac’s. However, it can also be used for other grounding duties. Compared to a Silver Minimus, the Olympus exhibits greater texture and air in the low frequencies as well as finer detail and better flow in the music. Like all of the other Entreq Ground boxes it is made of solid Oak - but in addition, the Olympus range can also be supplied in a dark oak.

Both the Silver Minimus and the Olympus Minimus can also be used in pairs to ground the negative speaker terminal of an amplifier. These results are quite amazing! Caution and care must be taken with this application. You must use one Ground box and one ground cable per channel! Never use a single ground box to connect both channels. You will likely damage your amplifier.

Silver Tellus (four terminals) The Silver Tellus has four dedicated outlets and can potentially handle up to eight devices. In addition to the enhanced design of the Silver Tellus, it also includes 30% more Silver in its specialist mineral mix. All of these advancements have resulted in a significant improvement in the effectiveness of the Silver Tellus to reduce noise and gain an even greater dynamic pitch.
Atlantis Tellus (single terminal) The Atlantis Tellus was designed to extend the performance of the Silver Tellus. The Atlantis Tellus has only one outlet and is more of a "supercharger" to the Silver Tellus rather than a stand-alone ground box (Atlantis cannot be used on its own). The Atlantis Tellus has a 10mm solid silver connector, silver conductors and plates and an all-new mineral mixture. Its additive performance characteristics are evident within hours, offering an even darker back ground, a quieter noise floor and a more natural airy yet detailed sound. The Atlantis Tellus should be placed on top of the Silver Tellus and connected with its own dedicated cable, this is included with its purchase. For those using an entire Entreq cable loom the Atlantis also increases the capacity of the Silver Tellus thus allowing more ground cables to be attached without loss or compromise of performance.
Olympus Tellus Olympus Tellus is the pinnacle of achievement for Entreq. The Olympus Tellus weighs in at 99 lbs (45 kg) and sports 6 inputs for grounding plus a separate input for earth grounding (typically at the wall socket). The Olympus Tellus and the Olympus Minimus share the same sonic signature; deep and massive low frequency extension, greater air and dimensional characteristics, additional harmonic and textural attributes that permeate the entire listening experience.

The key in using any Entreq grounding box is matching the system's impedance to the grounding box. The cost of the Entreq Eartha cable does not dictate its performance in your system. The better cable will usually give you more transparency but the level of transparency that any given system can handle will depend on how well balanced the system has been designed.

For example, a more transparent cable may allow more resolution to pass through but it may not be as musical as another cable in the line. Its best to try several levels of cables within the Entreq line to maximize your system’s performance and your listening pleasure.
Poseidon (Three Terminals) The Poseidon can be best described as three totally independent Olympus Minimus in one neat enclosure. With its three pure solid Silver binding posts, the Poseidon offers a tremendous level of performance and an almost limitless set of options. One option in particular is the ability to Ground each channel of your stereo amplifier via the negative speaker terminals, while simultaneously and independently being able to Ground your Pre-amp or DAC at the same time. This option alone offers an unrivalled level of performance yet to be attained in any other single Entreq Ground box. This is just one option, please let your imagination and your dealer take you further.
