I have some very nice equipment in my stereo.
1. Esoteric XO-5
2. Parasound JC2 Preamp
3. Parasound Halo JC1 Monoblock Amps
4. Chicago Speakerworks Quartet with Dual 10" Subs
My system is tied together with Shunyata Stratos interconnect and speaker wire. All power cords are Shunyata ranging from Python to Anaconda CX. The entire system was floated completely on Stillpoints Ultra SS.
I really thought the sound in my dedicated listening room couldn't get any better . . . I was wrong. All I did was replace my Ultra SS with the model 6's. To say there was an improvement would be a massive understatement. The sound was much better in all parameters. Soundstage, depth, width, dynamics, tone quality and focus were all improved by a huge margin. But I feel that the biggest improvement is slam. The system has that in spades now.
The beauty of your products is that there are no "trade offs." Usually when you install a "tweak" in a system, and I wish I could find a better word than "tweak," there is always a compromise. If the soundstage gets better, then the bass gets muddy and so on, but not with Stillpoints. From the moment you put them in your system, the improvements are all positive, and with not compromise.
After almost fifty years in this hobby, I have never come across a product that is all positive with absolutely no negative. Stillpoints improve every facet of my stereo listening experience. I love the idea of choosing the system you like, be it solid state, tubes, plainer or dynamic speakers, and "massaging" the sound.
Everyone hears things differently and your Stillpoints work on any type of system. Your products are not inexpensive, but they work. It's so much more affordable to "massage" your sound than it is to be on the "equipment merry-go-round," and much more satisfying too.
Well, now I have to sell my Ultra SS's so I can replace them with the model 6's. They really do make a dramatic improvement in any system. Without a doubt, Stillpoints are the best "tweak" I have ever come across and your products get my highest recommendation!

Music is essentially my world these days... I'll be 67 in December and music keeps me going...
I spent 13 months in Vietnam in the Air Force as a member of an Air, Sea Rescue (Para-rescue) unit... was injured there in a couple of chopper crashes and my life was forever changed...
…been coping all these years with music and a few good friends...
mostly good music.
I discovered the Stillpoints Ultra-Minis through a friend of mine at the dealer I frequent... most of the folks there use them everywhere in their systems.
I have to be more frugal, so I use them where I can afford.
Goodness, do they make a difference...!!!
Everything just opens up and is more dramatic... it's wonderful...!!
It has been a few months. Just wanted to give you a heads up I finally finished adding the Ultra 5’s to my system. My 2-channel has U5’s from transport all the way through the speakers. 7 sets of 4 U5’s are in that system (4 under each component). Not including the 2 sets of SS’s + bases under my two PS Audio P10 Power Plants, in that chain. I should say the U5’s under the preamp, preamp power supply and amp are also on ultra bases. I could not fit the U5’s under the DAC or Transport with the bases – just too tight of a fit in the rack.

I thought I’d share an unsolicited audio observation I stumbled into recently.
Humans are funny animals. We seem to perpetually need a bit of change, a modicum of new stimulus in our lives or we run the risk of getting bored and restless. The subspecies Audiophilius Nervosus, far from being the exception to this behavior often takes the need for change to a whole new level in the never-ending quest to eke out the last bit of performance from his audio system.
It's been about 10 days since I placed a total of twelve Stillpoints Ultra 5's under my power amp which is dual mono, dual power supply. I placed three under each amp and another three under each power supply. Recently, at THE Show in Newport, I spoke to Bruce Jacobs as to his recommendations as to where to place these Ultra 5's. It was his suggestion to try one under each transformer. If I were to do that, I would need five Ultra 5's under each power supply as there are four rear transformers and I placed another Ultra 5 towards the underside of the front centre part of the amp. However, I only had three for each power supply such that I placed two under each of the two rear most transformers and the third under the front centre. I thought this sounded wonderful.
